Our Elders form the backbone of Cat Lake First Nation, embodying the community's strength and wisdom. They inspire and counsel many of our members, serving as living archives of our language, culture, and ancestral legacy. Their invaluable guidance continues to shape pivotal decisions within our Nation.

Cat Lake First Nation is an Ojibway First Nation reserve located approximately 180 kilometers northwest of Sioux Lookout in northwestern Ontario, Canada. Nestled on the central north shore of Cat Lake, our community is rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty. As of 2021, Cat Lake First Nation has a total registered population of 651 people.
