Hildur and Sverre Kjevik, who emigrated from Norway, fell in love with Black Rock Resort in 1963. They purchased the family-run business because the serenity and beauty of the property reminded them of their Norwegian riverside farm. Today, their daughter Karen continues their legacy by sharing Black Rock Resort with visitors from around the world.
