2022 marks a century of Rawley, and we invite you to join us in celebrating 100 years of rich history and tradition. Rawley s property is the successor of Christie s Lumber Mill, a bustling local hub in the 19th century that transformed white pine lumber from the vast riverside forests.
By 1922, civil engineer Edgar Otto Rawson, his wife Mabel, and her brother James Gawley built a three-story fishing lodge on the property. Camp Rawley became a beloved destination for land and boat travelers, creating decades of cherished memories. In 2005, the original building was restored, preserving the Rawley tradition that continues to thrive today.
