Bimose Tribal Council

Bimose Tribal Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving its 10 Member First Nations by providing essential services in Education, Economic Development, Technical Services, and Water and Wastewater Management. Our mission is guided by the teachings of our Elders, ensuring that cultural values are embedded in everything we do.

Our head office, located in Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation, functions as a sacred lodge, maintained under the guidance of our Executive Director with input from Elders. These teachings have shaped our mandate, mission, and vision, reflecting the deep connection between our community s values and the services we provide.

Bimose Tribal Council also supports the community through various key initiatives, including Kakina Economic Development, Anishinaabe Student Achievement, and the Education Partnership Program. We operate educational institutions like Bimose Community High School and Gaagagekiizhik Elementary School, along with programs such as the Bimose HUB and Bimose Jordan s Principle Regional Hub, which provide additional resources and support to our communities.

Through these efforts, we are committed to fostering growth, development, and the well-being of our people while honoring the traditions and wisdom of our ancestors.
